Adios 2015

Day after day, we are astounded by the remarkable memories we have made and continue to make. As 2015 comes to an end, I'd like to urge everyone to take time to celebrate the good memories that are filled within you and forget all the bad, painful and harmful memories that we all have had and wish to forget. 2015 has treated me well. Few UPS & downs.....but hey who doesn't have bad days?? I specifically love how many new friends I have made. I would have never pictured myself with these new people who are now some of my very best friends. It's crazy how God puts in new people just when you need them the most. He knows everything. He knows EXACTLY what will make you happy and what affect these "new people" in your life will have on you. Reflect on the happy. Call a loved one tell them how much you miss them and wish to see them in the new year. Call or send a nice text to the girl who was always purposesly rude to you....be the bigger person. It will make an impact on you as well as the person you text. Year after year goes by and we are just getting older. Life is too short to be holding grudges against some and being rude to others. New year new slate. Forgive those who have done harm to you and just start FRESH from scratch. CHEERS Xoxo, Mary Catherine Bass

Its that time of the year again . . . . :):):):)


Fall is here, uggs are out again, big sweaters, all = happiness !!!!!!!!

This time next week I'll be here you know stuffed as a turkey. But thats the glory of it.


Thanksgiving is a time where family is together again (hopefully). Your brother or sister flies home from college, Food is everywhere, Traditions continue, Photos are taken.. correction... MANY photos are taken !!!!


But I'm excited because the Bass family will the the Bass family again !!!!!!!! 


Everyone please ENJOY your thanksgiving break, hug your loved ones tightly, constantly thank god for everything you have, and just live for him !!!!!!!!

My Best Friend

In life.... you never fully get the chance to tell your mother how much you truly love her. My mom is my absolute best friend and I love her so SOO much!! So much that I cry everytime I think of a time when she wont be here to hold my hand or give me a squeeze whenever I am in desperate need for one.


She is my rock and I dont know how I could ever continue on without my her. She does so much for me and I don't tell her how grateful I am or her as much as I should.


So please everyone go tell your mother how much you love her!!! Life is unpredictable and you can never take it for granted!!!


Mom....When I tell you I love you I don’t say it out of habit...I say it to remind you that YOU are the best thing that ever happened to me!!!!



Words cannot express the unconditional love that exist between me and my mom.

Surprise RB!!!!

Surprise trip to see RB are the best kind of trips!!!..... Especially if you havent seen your older brother in months!!! (well since january....) Anyways I couldnt be more excited to come see you again in your new life!!! Crazy to me how you havent lived here for eight months !!!!


Well I miss you and the plane is boarding now so see you soon !!!!


Today....Everyone call your loved ones who are away and tell them you love them and that you are thinking of them. It will make their day I promise!!!

Big Days !!!!!!!!

Aghhh nerve-racking days are the worst but its okay because God is with us and it will to be okay in the end !!!!!!!!


Anyways. . . . . 

There comes a time in your life when you will have to tryout for something you want badly. Whether its for a highschool team, a college interview, an important job interview, or whatever it is .... Tryouts are never fun. For me, I was trying out for my High School drill team, Belles. And tryouts for this drill team are very intricat and difficult. But rest easy in the fact that God is with you and he wants what you to be happy !!!! 

 

Don’t be scared. Tryouts can be REEALLLYYYY stressful, but the judges want you to do well &&& suceed !!!

The Hardest "Good-Bye"

Today, my big brother went off to college....Geez I can’t believe that! It's so crazy to me just how fast time flies... So weird to think that I lived with him for the past 14 years of my life and will probably never live with him again…. :(


I already miss him lots, and I love him more than he will ever know!!!!!


To all y’all that are headed off to college…. dont be afraid to start a new life away from home!!! Just know that your family really loves you and will miss you!! They might not show it, but know deep down they are sad...REALLY sad to see you go!!!  It’s an exciting time and I hope it’s better than you could ever imagine... Rest easy in the fact that the God who designed the universe has a specific plan just for you. SO COOL. Always remember YOU ARE LOVED by your family, your friends, but most importantly by God himself!!!


&& For those of you that feel like you cant live without them just know it gets easier and that the world is a small place so your loved ones are just a call or plane ride away!!


Also this past week I have realized how blessed I am to have my older brother in my life.... and that he is the one that makes saying goodbye so hard. I miss my brother like crazy, but I know he is extremely happy where he is. 


Love you so much RB!!
